PaperWorld Middle East 2012

Exhibition and trade fair specialising in paper, paper products, stationery and packaging industry

Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH, a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt Germany, introduced a new trade exhibition to Dubai in March, 2011. A total of 6,246 visitors from 108 countries attended Paperworld throughout the 3-day exhibition. Developed from the well established Paperworld brand, the second edition of the event entitled Paperworld Middle East will be held from March 6 to 8 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and promises to be a huge success. Paperworld Middle East will feature a broad international participation, with companies looking forward to bring new products to Middle East market and expand their business in the region.

In East Africa, the demand for stationery has seen a two-fold increase because of the rise in educational institutes. In Dubai, demand for stationery and allied paper products has seen a growth of almost 27 per cent. With its extensive network of retailers, wholesalers and stockists there is a huge market for stationery products here and across the region.

A big influence in this market is attributed to Dubai as a major logistics hub – with re-exports to Africa on the increase. Paperworld Middle East provides the ideal platform from which to tap into this market potential and meet key contacts from across the region.

The trade fair will focus on office supplies, office and household papers, gift articles and greeting cards, stationery and school articles. The event will be held parallel to Playworld Middle East 2012 where the interconnected exhibitions can benefit from shared synergies in terms of visitor profiles.
