Bergzicht Meubels was established in Stellenbosch in 1976 by Mr. G.J (Boet) Lourens, who had extensive industry experience as the manager of Lewis Stores Stellenbosch and later as the Regional Manager for Lewis Stores in the Western Cape. However, the Lourens Family's vision for expansion did not stop there. In 1995, they purchased Modern Electrical Appliances from Mr. Sidney Groll, demonstrating their commitment to growth and success beyond Stellenbosch.
