Since we opened our doors in 1995 with our first dealership, Fury Ford and Mazda Sandton, we have grown into a fourteen dealership strong motor group, with two brand new dealerships just having opened in Woodmead. We showcase a host of SA’s leading brands, including Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Isuzu, Mazda, Opel, Suzuki, Toyota and Volkswagen.The Fury Motor Group also has its own parts distribution centre and wholesaler, Fury Auto Parts, which supplies a diverse grouping of motor retailers, general purpose motor repairers and panel beaters with a wide range of leading brand genuine auto parts. At our Fury Academy we provide the highest level of technical training and level-testing to up-and-coming motor-trade technicians and auto-body repairers. Our CEO would like to think that Fury is all about people. The buildings are merely venues from which we serve our customers. No one employee is a number and each contribution is valued and recognized. We are still growing, 19 years later - growing and producing excellent results in all departments across the business, and remain excited about our future as a retailer of a wide range of South Africa’s leading motor brands.Our involvement in the communities in which we operate is ongoing. Our annual support of various organizations such as FREEME, and certain SPCA branches, through both financial contributions and the work party efforts of our staff, remain a rewarding and fun experience for all involved. We also support Netcare 911 & Emer-G-Med, and participate in the annual Round Table Bed Race. This year will be the 10th year of the annual Fury Motor Group Rugby Development Programme, run in conjunction with the Golden Lions Rugby Union. We are proud that this program has now grown from, initially, the provision of playing-kit to schools in our community and to selected other less privileged schools and GLRU development teams, to now include the annual donation of a motor vehicle. Printed raffle tickets are sold by schools and other community based charitable organizations, with all the proceeds of the ticket sales accruing in full, to the selling school or charity.The Fury Motor Group, owned and operated by its management team, together with associate investors, Batsomi Investment Holdings, look forward to continued growth and profitable operation in the vibrant South African motor retail sector.Whilst our primary focus is always on the needs of our customers, our triangle of responsibility includes return on investment for our shareholders, without compromising the best interests of our suppliers, the community and, of course, the Fury Motor Group staff at the centre.

A Kia Motors Company é uma das grandes indústrias da Coreia do Sul e uma das maiores do mundo no sector automobilístico. Fundada em 1944, surgiu então com o propósito de produzir rodas para bicicletas, à época com uma fábrica instalada em Seul. Posteriormente, durante a Guerra da Coreia, entre os anos de 1950 e 1953, a Kia mudou as instalações para a cidade portuária de Pusan, no sul do país, tendo passado a designar-se Indústrias Kia, tendo iniciado a produção de bicicletas. O resultado desta mudança foi particularmente positivo e rapidamente a empresa coreana viu-se na necessidade de montar nova fábrica, na localidade de Shiheung, para poder dar resposta às encomendas de bicicletas.O mercado evoluiu, e a aceitação da Kia por parte do público que rapidamente justificou o aparecimento de novos produtos. Surgiram assim os motores para scooters, mas também pequenos veículos comerciais e camiões. Em 1973 surgiram os primeiros motores a gasolina, colocados no mercado exactamente um ano antes do lançamento do primeiro veículo de passageiros Kia, apresentado em 1974 sob o nome de Brisa. Entre avanços e recuos, por vezes motivados pelas conjunturas económicas da Coreia do Sul, a Kia Motors chegou ao mercado internacional, em 1991, com os Sephia e Sportage.O 50.º aniversário da marca foi assinalado em 1994 com a mudança de nome para Kia Motors Corporation e com o lançamento do primeiro motor coreano de 16 válvulas a gasolina, tudo isto num ano em que a marca começava a ser comercializada em Portugal. Adquirida em 1998 pela Hyundai, outra marca sul-coreana, na sequência de um período económico mais conturbado, passou a integrar o Hyundai Kia Automotive Group onde se integra actualmente, com total autonomia para a produção dos seus produtos numa gama actualizada, na qual se destacam modelos pensados para o mercado europeu, como acontece com toda a gama Cee’d produzida na fábrica que a marca possui na Europa, na cidade eslovaca de Zilina.Com um percurso que se pode considerar curto em termos temporais no mercado automóvel mundial, a Kia é hoje vista, ainda assim, como uma marca em franca progressão no sector e com um enorme futuro à sua frente.
