We are Namibia's leading provider of transport and distribution services. F.P. du Toit Transport (Pty) Ltd, offers clients a complete range of logistics-related services. What started as a small Northern Cape family business in 1968 has grown into one of the Southern African continent’s major transport and freight companies. Some 40 years later nothing much has changed. Our extended family now comprises nearly 500 members.Working out of 9 depots across Namibia, South African and 7 more SADC countries, we manage a fleet of more than a hundred vehicles on the road and subcontract ‘in air’ and ‘on sea’ services to complete our branded strategic offering.Despite the introduction of the most advanced information management systems and our "group" status, the one thing that hasn't changed with time is the way our family runs the business. At FP du Toit we still pride ourselves on the three simple values the business was built on - people, partnerships and service levels. Today we're in partnership with most of Namibia and Southern Africa's largest multi-national brands and businesses and appreciate the respect and relationships they place on our brand of services in their value chain. "Marketing is everything and everything is marketing" At FP du Toit we see ourselves as integral to our clients' business and success. Our business is to keep our clients' business open for business 24/7/365. We do not regard ourselves as a transport company – functionally we provide a means to market. Emotionally, as a people's business, we see ourselves as our clients' to-market solutions partner. We take our role in our clients' successes seriously – a responsibility we accept with pride. For when we describe ourselves as a family business we mean it – we like to be part of our clients' families, no matter how big or small. Size and growth is not what drives our brand. Quality, reliability, service and relationships are the passions that make our business work. Central to our passion - the functional arm of our family businesses – is our line haul fleet, which comprises well over a hundred power units and nearly 150 trailers. At these numbers our fleet, in units and capacity, is designed to provide clients and the markets in which they operate a strategic competitive advantage and an ongoing value proposition. Our family of skilled drivers operates the fleet – most which have been with the company for more than 10 years. Ongoing driver training and development is key to the family philosophy to invest in the growth of our people which has resulted in our driver corps to be one of the first to enjoy accreditation under the Namibia Logistics Association's Driver Development Program. For total peace of mind and guaranteed service delivery, FP du Toit's on the road prime mover fleet policy only employs state-of-the-art German and American engineering and technology. So as to ensure reliability and service, and optimize operational cost efficiencies the fleet is replaced on 36-month cycles.
We are freight consolidators, so deliveries aren't necessarily over-night. Nevertheless, we send trucks to the coast (Walvis Bay & Swakopmund) on a daily basis. Deliveries to Oshakati and nearby towns like Ondangwa, Ongwediva and Oshikango can take a day or two longer. Get in touch with us, as our clients do, and find out how soon your freight can be at its destination. At the end of the day, it's not trucks that set a transport company apart. It's the relationship we have with our customers. At Khan Trucking, we are there for you.

Seahorse East Africa Limited is dedicated to the marine industry in Tanzania. The company was established in 1999 and is owned and run by John and Liria van der Loon. The main emphasis of "Seahorse East Africa" is building a range of fibreglass boats, acting as boat broker for used boats, agent for new boats and engines, and the importation and supply of marine equipment. The boat building utilizes a series of moulds to laminate hulls and top decks. The basic hull is called the Chachungi and using this long narrow canoe shaped hull they can be joined together to form catamarans and trimarans. See the range under "new boats". Boat brokerage, is in essence, an agent who acts on behalf of sellers and buyers of boats, both new and used. This assists both parties to be able to relate directly to the current market forces, and to put the correct value to a boat. The seller is given advice and assistance to sell his boat while the buyer is provided with expert knowledge in the process of deciding on the right boat for the intended use, a detailed description and assessment of boats that are for sale, and after sales back up with regard to repairs, spare parts, maintenance, and basic operating techniques for that particular boat. The seller is charged a commission for the sale of his boat. Unless the broker is given sole rights to sell the boat then the buyer can also sell it independently. The buyer has only one obligation to the broker. If the broker is the first to show him a particular boat which he decides to purchase, then the sale must pass through the broker. In the boating industry since 1974, and a long term commitment to East Africa since 1993, it is vital for John to ensure that all parties are completely satisfied with any transaction. While every effort is made to confirm the accuracy of the information supplied on the listed boats, Seahorse East Africa cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.
