Hardware+Tools Middle East 2012

International trade fair for tools, hardware, materials and machinery

Hardware+Tools is the Middle East's only dedicated event for tools, hardware materials and machinery. Industry professionals involved in the supply of equipment to or the design, construction, build or specification of commercial or residential developments understand the importance of keeping up to date with new products, services and technology in the field. Hardware+Tools Middle East is the perfect platform to meet new contacts, discuss new trends and technological developments, keep up to date with industry knowledge and source new products and solutions.

The 2011 edition of Hardware+Tools Middle East, the region's international trade fair for tools, hardware, materials and machinery concluded on a positive note attracting 4,316 visitors from 64 countries. A total of 250 exhibitors from 12 countries presented over 450 brands, products and services to key buyers, decision makers and industry professionals. According to a survey conducted by the organizers, 71% of the exhibitors stated adequate to very successful in meeting their objectives and 73% of the exhibitors intend to either increase or take the same stand size in 2012.

The Middle East Construction Forum which was introduced to the show for the first time was a huge hit with 173 delegates from the construction industry, including architects, engineers, developers, project managers, consultants and contractors in attendance. The forum was organised in conjunction with Society of Engineers - UAE and featured a range of presentations from prominent industry professionals on new developments and legislation that are changing the way the industry functions in the international arena.

The live demo area once more proved to be a great success with interactive presentations from 3M, Makita, Leica Geosystems and Einhell. Some of the latest technologies in welding, cutting, drilling, soldering, grinding, moulding and more were on display and attracted much attention amongst the trade visitors in attendance.
